Our trade client contacted us for project he was commissioned on in Inglewhite, Preston. His retail client had requested to have all the blinds motorised in both his daughter’s bedroom and the master suite for ease of use. Manual blinds would not be an option for the apex shaped windows due the fitting height and the large blind size. The retail client also wanted the shaped blinds in both bedrooms to be fitted within recessed BlindSpace boxes.
We manufactured our SonaApex and SonaCell blinds with Honeycell 25mm blackout cellular fabric, in combination with our Somfy remote-control 12v electric motors and a hard wired mains power supply system. All the blinds were connected to wireless RTS multi channel handsets to give individual blind control. We also powder coated the hardware on the blinds to match the window finish of anthracite grey 7016. The shaped blinds are almost ‘hidden’ when not in use and blend seamlessly into gable recess, which helps allow the maximum daylight into the room.
